'Ypres Salient' tour
On this tour we visit the most striking places around Ypres: where the actions really took place, remarkable scars in the landscape and of course a selection of cemeteries... there we always emphasize on soldiers' stories.
Being on the road with a small group, means that there is time for everyone's questions and you have your personal guide all day. If you tell us in advance your personal interests for a certain battalion, regiment, place or family member in the great war... we will be happy to offer you a well documented bespoke tour.
The places visited on our tour, are selected with care and very well researched. Many of these places are also less known to the general public.
The city of Ypres itself and the Menin Gate are of course mentioned on the tour, but are not visited: we like to leave the beaten paths ...

The program is completely outdoor :
so please prepare for the announced weather.
Put on sturdy shoes,
boots are not necessary.
Bring drinks and picnic for the daytime.
You can also opt for a simple lunch at noon: this is not included in the price.
